Our Purpose
To support Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod congregations in Southeastern Ohio, West Virginia, and Eastern Kentucky; encouraging them to love and serve the people in their community whom God has set before their eyes.
Get Involved
Lutherans Do Care in Appalachia is a series of summer Youth and Adult Servant Events hosted by local Lutheran congregations. Stand beside your brothers and sisters in Christ to help them serve neighbors in their community. Two of the most feared realities are helplessness and dependency. When we are confronted with the need to be cared for, we are reminded that being at God's mercy is a good place to be. This is the theology of the cross. In the midst of our own helplessness, Christ walks before us and beside us. For all of us, Christ is our ultimate hope.
Quarterly Meetings
Pastors and Delegates should plan to attend the quarterly General Assembly meeting being held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan, Ohio.
